TWO barns on Hayling Island were transformed into hip and chic music venues as more than 700 people rocked the night away.
The annual Bands in the Barn was a sell-out success and has ensured a vital first aid service will continue on the island.
One barn was transformed into a trendy cocktail bar with chill-out music, while the other barn was filled to the rooftops with the sound of funk and rock, with performances from The Superheroes and The Freestyle Funk Collective.
Organiser Fran Ashforth said: ‘The rain held off allowing everyone to enjoy the beautiful setting of Manor Farm.
‘It was wonderful to see people of all ages.’
Proceeds from the event will cover the cost of a new car for Hayling Island Community Responders, which attends emergencies.
