A YACHT that lost all engine power and anchored in treacherous waters had to be rescued.

The crew of Hayling Island RNLI were called out to the yacht, which was stranded at the mouth of Chichester Harbour.

The two members of the crew were said to be exhausted when the lifeboat reached them last Wednesday evening. The yacht was towed back to Sparkes Marina.
