IT SOUNDS simple enough.
Six dance styles in six hours to raise money for The Rowans Hospice.
So if you’re up for a dance marathon workout, then sign up for this year’s event.
The Dance-a-thon is in its second year, and the Purbrook hospice is encouraging people to sign up.
Events fundraiser Ali Corbett said: ‘Last year was very successful and everyone had great fun.
‘We’ve got six great teachers again this year to teach styles ranging from disco to line dancing, to a musicals medley, so sign up for this funky challenge.
‘You’ll be able to learn steps and routines to your favourite styles of dance, at your own pace, with a great party soundtrack.
‘You can enter as a team so you can tag in and out or challenge your team to complete the whole six hours.’
Each 50-minute section is led by a trained professional specialising in their particular area of dance.
This year, the event takes place on Saturday, November 30, at Portsmouth Football Club, from 6pm to midnight.
Anyone aged 14 years and over and take part.
