PEOPLE who have a fear of falling and are unsteady on their feet can take advantage of a new exercise class designed to improve their balance.

The Steady and Strong classes, spearheaded by East Hampshire District Council following a National Lottery grant of £5,000, are aimed at people who suffer from poor balance, dizziness or osteoporosis and would like to find out more about preventing falls.

People are being invited to an assessment at the Taro Leisure Centre in Petersfield to see if they are eligible for the classes. The free assessments take place on March 15, 16, 22 and 23.
