THE dates for the next batch of blood donor sessions have been announced.

The NHS Blood and Transplant service is urging as many people as they can to sign up and become blood donors to help save lives.

The next sessions take place at the following places and times:

n Tuesday, February 14, Lee on Solent Community Association, Twyford Drive, Lee-on-the-Solent, from 1.30pm to 3.25pm and 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

n Friday, February, 17, Clanfield Memorial Hall, South Lane, Clanfield, from 1.30pm to 3.25pm and 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

Generally people aged 17 to 65, who are in good health can become blood donors.
