AROUND 40 blood riders headed out from Queen Alexandra Hospital and headed to their new base.
Serv Wessex, which covers Portsmouth, is a network of volunteer motorcyclists who transport materials like blood and tissue samples to hospital.
It has recently acquired headquarters in Eastleigh and to celebrate, riders across the region took part in a sponsored ride.
They raised £460, which will be put towards funding their current fleet of vehicles.
