A LIBRARY will host a Stroke Association roadshow this month, with blood pressure checks.

The association is visiting Gosport Discovery Centre on May 10 as part of its Action on Stroke Month, which launches today.

The roadshow will highlight the services available to stroke survivors.

Stroke prevention will also be discussed as people do not realise how common the condition can be.

The association says there are nearly 18,000 people living with the effects of strokes in Hampshire.

It comes as the roadshow tours the county.
