AN INFORMATION stand about dementia will be stopping off in Portsmouth next week.

The roadshow, which has been organised by the Alzheimer’s Society, will be at the Tesco Extra store, in Clement Atlee Way, Portsmouth, on Tuesday, September 13 and Wednesday, September 14 September. The drop-in session runs from 10am to 4pm, and will provide information on dementia for people living with the condition and for their friends and families.

Regional director of the Alzheimer’s Society Angie Newing said: ‘This roadshow will help us reach out to communities, tackle stigma by raising awareness of the condition and encourage people who are worried about their memory to visit their GP.’
