THERE are just a few days to go until a charity disco in memory of a special young lady.

Staff at AMF Bowling, in Bedhampton, are putting together the final touches for the Just Breathe charity disco for the charity Nadine Blake held close to her heart.

The 18-year-old, from Warren Park, died in March following a lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis. All the money raised at the disco, on Saturday, will go to the adult cystic fibrosis ward at Southampton General Hospital.

Organiser Shanice Honess said: ‘We put together the disco after realising how much of an inspiration Nadine is to so many. It makes you realise how lucky you are to have such a good life.

‘Nadine’s friends and family have been so helpful – from offering to be DJ for the evening to selling cakes or wrist bands.

‘Madison Scott, a friend of Nadine’s, has helped sell many tickets and arranged a raffle and stalls for the evening.’

The fun begins at 6pm. Tickets are £4 and can be bought on the door.
