A SUPPORT group for people with an incurable heart disease is holding an information event.

People can find out more about cardiomyopathy at the free at the Marriott Hotel in Cosham next week.

Cardiomyopathy, said to affect up to 1 in 500 people, will be the topic of discussion in a series of short presentations from Dr Paul Kalra and Dr Geraint Morton of Queen Alexandra Hospital’s cardiology 

This will be accompanied by a talk from a Medtronic representative on the latest in implantable 

Anybody with questions about the disease are encouraged to pop down to the evening on April 23 from 7.30pm-9.30pm where questions will be answered by Heart Failure nurses and cardiologists.

Free hot drinks and pastries will also be served on the night.
