JUNIOR doctors are set to strike after rejecting a deal with the government.

Leadership at the British Medical Association agreed new industrial action next month over a contract ministers are imposing on their members.

Junior doctors feel the contract does not reward people who work most at weekends, the BMA said.

The strike will last for five days between 8am and 5pm, running from September 12 to September 16, followed by further dates.
