PORTSMOUTH doctors are putting themselves up to answer questions from the public.

GPs on the Portsmouth Clinical Commissioning Group are inviting people to submit health-related questions, which will be answered in a public meeting.

Dr Tim Wilkinson, who chairs the CCG governing board, said: ‘We will answer any health-related question people want to ask us, but can’t answer questions about any individual’s health.

‘For example, questions may be about our priorities, the NHS in general or GP, community or hospital services.’

The event takes place at St James’ Hospital, in Locksway Road, Milton, from 2pm to 4.30pm on Wednesday, February 20.

The Q&A session will be held towards the end of the meeting at 4pm.

Questions must be submitted in writing or email received by 4pm on Friday, February 15.

Email questions to enquiries@portsmouthccg.nhs.uk.

People are asked to title the email ‘Question for the Governing Board’.
