A FASHION show held by Portsmouth Hospitals Charity raised more than £1,000.
The sell-out event at the Village Hotel, saw guests marvel at the outfits modelled by volunteers before making their purchases after an hour’s shopping – with the hospital charity getting 10 per cent of sales.
Free goodies and prizes were handed out following a raffle, while people could treat themselves to hair and make-up gifts. Pip Cowen, fundraising assistant, said: ‘We raised £1,274 which is more than we hoped for.
‘The money will help all departments with equipment, facilities and courses which will all improve patient care.’
