A FINAL reminder has been given by a children’s hospice inviting people to attend its open day.

Naomi House, near Winchester, is putting together eleventh-hour preparations for this year’s open day and fete, which takes place on Saturday.

The hospice is expecting hundreds of visitors to the annual event.

Activities will be taking place throughout the day, including, pony rides, bouncy castles, a barbecue, birds of prey shows, dog display teams, clog dancers and a children’s interactive quiz.

Last year around 2,000 people made the trip to Sutton Scotney, where children with life-threatening illnesses from the Portsmouth area, can go to get support.

The open day is the only chance people can take a look at the hospice.

Doors open at 11am and last entry is at 4pm.

Entry costs £2 per adult, 50p for children and under-fives can visit free.
