VISITORS to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham will be able to learn more about strokes on Thursday, October 29.
The Stroke Association will mark World Stroke Day by offering advice and information about strokes at the hospital from 10am to 2pm.
Association information advice and support co-ordinator Debby Lewis said: ‘This World Stroke Day, we’re encouraging everyone to come along to Queen Alexandra Hospital and find out more about the risk factors for stroke. We hope to see lots of people on Thursday when they can learn about how to help prevent stroke.’
World Stroke Day highlights the worldwide rates of stroke, raised awareness of the steps that can be taken to prevent strokes.
