It is the second year the charity has organised the event which was praised by people who went along.

Jack and Louise Evans, from Paulsgrove, took their sons Michael and Christopher.

Louise, 32, said: ‘It has been a lovely day with lots of things for the boys to do.

‘They liked meeting the Stormtrooper and playing on the inflatables.’

All money raised from the fair will go towards the Children’s Bubble Fund which supports projects for the paediatric department.

Victoria Greenshields, fundraising manager, said: ‘It is lovely to see so many families from the community come along. I have also seen patients from the hospital come down to enjoy some of the activities.’

The charity is hoping to beat last year’s fundraising total of £4,000.
