PEOPLE have the chance to find out how health services will look in Portsmouth following an NHS shake-up.

The first formal meeting of Portsmouth’s shadow health and wellbeing board will take place at the Guildhall from 9am – 10am on June 22.

The new council committee, featuring councillors, council officers, doctors and NHS professionals, has been formed as a result of the NHS reorganisation, which moves the responsibility for public health to local authorities.

A public conference will be held from 10am – 2pm in the Lord Mayor’s banqueting suite for people to learn more about the new structure and how they can play a role in improving health and wellbeing.
