A QUIZ night is taking place to raise money for the renovation of a children’s hospice.

Naomi House is calling on supporters across Portsmouth to join the Caterpillar Quiz tournament to help fund vital building work.

Starting in autumn, the quiz is open to businesses, pubs, community groups or friends who want to test their grey matter against the hospice’s quizmaster, and retail manager, Martin Efford.

Quizzes take place across the county, with Portsmouth’s being held on Monday, October 20, in Fratton Park, starting at 6.30pm.

The top teams from each round will be invited to a grand final in Winchester.

Entry to the quiz is £60 per team of up to six people and includes a meal on the night.

Money raised goes to the Caterpillar Appeal, which is aiming to raise more than £4m for a refurbishment of Noami House, near Winchester, and helps children and young people suffering from life-threatening illnesses.
