MEN are being encouraged to get tested for prostate cancer at a free event organised by a Rotary Club.

The PSA testing will take place in the Life You Want shop, opposite Boots, in Fareham Shopping Centre on Saturday, October 25 from 10am until 3pm.

It has been organised by the Fareham Meon Rotary Club and The Prostate Cancer Support Organisation.

Brian Ray, from the Rotary club, said: ‘We need men to book an appointment in advance by phoning 01329 843014. It is an important event which may save lives. The test only takes 10 minutes.’
