PRIORITIES over what healthcare money should be spent on over the next five years are due to be set out.

The Portsmouth Clinical Commissioning Group
(CCG) is working on its five-year strategic plan and
wants to hear input from the public.

Suzannah Rosenburg, the CCG’s director of quality and commissioning, said: ‘There’s lots of guidance about what needs to be included in this plan, but fundamentally we must set out our priorities for the next five years and what we intend to do to achieve them.

‘We are consulting with our stakeholders, patients, carers and the public and we would really like to know what you think.

‘Our drafted future priorities below are based on our existing priorities, but we know they are not right yet.

‘We’ve had comments about some of the language used – such as elective care and integrated care – not being terms which the public will be familiar with, which we take onboard.’

Anyone with comments can email them in by April 17 to
