GOSPORT’S MP Caroline Dinenage has grown a moustache.

But you won’t be able to see it if you spot the MP in the town as it is a virtual one.

Ms Dinenage has sprouted a digital moustache on the Movember in Parliament website.

She is backing the popular Movember campaign, which sees men grow moustaches for a month. The campaign raises cash and awareness for men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer.

Ms Dinenage said: ‘On average, one man dies every hour from prostate cancer.

‘That is why it is so important for us to back initiatives such as Movember which aim to increase early cancer detection and facilitate the development of effective treatments.

‘I’m proud to be showing my support for Movember 2013 by donning a rather dashing moustache on the Movember in Parliament website.’

Cash raised is put into programmes for prostate and testicular cancer, along with other men’s health issues.
