TWO founding members of the health trust that buys in services for Portsmouth have been re-elected into the organisation.
Dr Dapo Alalade and Dr Elizabeth Fellows will continue their work with the Portsmouth Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
Dr Jim Hogan, the CCG’s chief clinical officer, said: ‘We obviously warmly welcome back Elizabeth and Dapo to our ranks so they can continue with the good work and efforts on our behalf.
‘Their nominations were heartily endorsed by the membership. That must say something.’
The other two GPs on the clinical executive remain – Dr Tim Wilkinson, chairman of the governing board, and Dr Linda Collie – who replaces Dr John Thornton.
The election was independently overseen by the Local Medical Committee.
