MEN are being advised to give themselves a health MOT to prevent problems developing.

The advice comes from Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust in the run up to Men’s Health Week, which starts on Monday, June 13 and goes on to Sunday, June 19.

The week aims to remind men of the importance to have a full sexual health screen at their local clinic at least once a year.

Men are advised to ensure they care not carrying any sexually transmitted diseases, and if they are to get them treated quickly, so they are not passed on.
