GIVING opportunities to people with learning disabilities is the focus of a new plan.

The Hampshire Learning Disability Partnership Board is launching a scheme to ensure that people with learning disabilities receive the same opportunities as everyone else and the right support to live their life the way they choose.

Leigh Park Councillor Liz Fairhurst, who is in charge of adult social care in Hampshire, said: ‘Key to success is all agencies working together to ensure people with learning disabilities have choice and control over their care and support and are enabled to live as independently as possible.’
