Havant karate club to walk five miles for NICUÂ

A karate club in Havant are doing a sponsored walk for Ickle Pickles

PSKO Karate, in Havant, has organised the sponsored walk which will see its members walk five miles this weekend.

The event will be raising money for IckleÂ Pickles which supports the neo-natal intensive care unit at Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham.

The idea came from club memberÂ Jenny Brooks who's 12-week-old sonÂ Rylei-Allen was born weighing 3lbÂ 15oz.

She wanted to say thank you to the unit for its care and PKSO wereÂ Â happy to help.

Louise McClelland, who's daughter Elizabeth will be taking part in the walk on Saturday, said: '˜Everyone is really looking forward to it.

'˜Some of the group will be setting off from QA Hospital and will be met halfway by everyone else. There will be lots of activities at the finish line of St Michael and All Saints Church.'
