Hayling Island care home is rated as good

STAFF at a home were praised for delivering effective care to their residents.Â

Bryony Lodge, on Hayling Island, were rated good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following an inspection earlier this year. 

Inspectors were pleased with the operation of the site and the treatment of residents.

The report said: '˜People received care and support from staff who were suitably qualified, skilled and knowledgeable.

'Care was personalised and staff demonstrated a good awareness and understanding of people's individual needs.'

Patients spoke well about their caregivers and describing them as '˜very helpful' and felt supported by the staff.

One patient said: '˜Everyone's lovely. It's a wonderful place, I've got no problems.'

During inspections, the CQC looks to see if a place is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.

Bryony Lodge was rated good for all five criteria.Â
