NEW antenatal classes will help parents-to-be prepare themselves for when the baby is born.

NCT, a charity for parents, has started the new classes in Gosport to help to reduce worries about pregnancy, birth and caring for a baby.

The course focuses on the needs of the baby as well as what becoming a mother and father could mean for the relationship over six two-hour sessions.

Katie Wilson, course administrator, said: ‘Becoming a parent is an exciting experience, but can also be very challenging. These classes give parents the confidence to make choices that are right for them.’
