ANYONE interested in working for a hospice is invited to a recruitment event.

The Rowans Hospice, which provides care for people suffering from life-threatening illnesses and their families, is holding its first recruitment drive.

There will be full-time and part-time posts available as well as chances to work as a volunteer for the hospice.

Matron Erika Lipscombe said: ‘We have opportunities for qualified nurses and health care support workers to work on the ward and within our Hospice at Home service.

‘If you have excellent nursing skills and the desire and motivation to develop your skills in a specialist hospice environment then you could be just what we’re looking for.’

The recruitment event takes place on Saturday, March 7, where there will be a brief presentation, interview and tour of the hospice.

Those interested need to register for an appointment.
