WAITING times at Queen Alexandra Hospital’s A&E department have increased yet again.

Latest figures from NHS England show that in the week ending February 15, only 65.3 per cent of those coming into A&E were seen, treated or discharged within four hours.

The government benchmark is for that to be achieved 95 per cent of the time.

In the same week the national average stood at 87.1 per cent.

For Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs QA, this is a drop from the previous week of 70 per cent.
