WILDLIFE walks around a business park have started again.

The Wildlife Trust’s Hampshire and Isle of Wight walks take place each Thursday, and start from the atrium of 1000 Lakeside in Northarbour at 12.30pm.

Steve Wiltshire, the trust’s reserves officer for south-east Hampshire, said: ‘There might be some interesting species of gulls about, and also birds like the goldcrest and bullfinch.

‘Lakeside is one of those sites that’s surprising because you wouldn’t think it’s good for wildlife, but when you start walking around you find there’s small corners and bits of habitat that are really good.’

The walks are free, and no booking is needed.
