THE organisation helping new GP-led health trusts care for patients has officially been launched.

NHS South Commissioning Support Unit (CSU) is working with all clinical commissioning groups in Hampshire, which includes the Portsmouth, Fareham and Gosport, and South Eastern CCGs.

It will help with things like healthcare analysis, contracting, quality, finance and procurement.

CSU managing director Keith Douglas said: ‘Our whole ethos is collaboration. Although our headquarters is in Eastleigh, we also have staff based within CCGs’ offices so we can be ready at a moment’s notice to assist.

‘Our staff have experience of working in the NHS, and this knowledge and understanding is of benefit to our customers.’
