HEALTH bosses will be taken to court after a pensioner plunged off a walkway on his mobility scooter and died.

The Health and Safety Executive will prosecute NHS Litigation.

Benjamin Withers, 82, of Denbigh Drive, Fareham, died from severe head injuries after the mobility scooter he was driving fell 10ft to the ground from the walkway at Fareham Health Centre, on September 20, 2012.
