A FUNDRAISING lunch will help medical research towards Alzheimer’s disease.

The event is one of a series of bi-annual talks organised by the Gosport branch of Wessex Medical Trust.

It will be attended by research scientist Dr Shmma Quraishe from the Southampton neuroscience group.

The Wessex Medical Trust provides start-up grants to scientists for new or innovative research into the causes and treatment of human disease.

The venue is the Kingfisher caravan park clubhouse, Stokes Bay on Thursday, June 18 at 12.30pm.

Tickets are on sale priced at £13.50.
