FORMER teenage players at a football club will face a team from a radio station to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

Nathan Jeffery is organising the match between former players of Athletico Porto and Express FM and Pompey veterans in memory of friends and family they have lost to the disease over the years.

It will be at Westleigh Park, the home of Havant and Waterlooville Football Club, on October 13.

Mr Jeffery said: ‘There will be balloon modelling, face-painting, a half-time crossbar challenge and throughout the day raffle tickets will be on sale for some great prizes.

‘We will also be holding a big balloon release after the game for everyone wanting to be involved who would like to remember loved ones or pay respects.’

Gates open at 12.30pm and kick-off will be at 2pm.

Entry is £2.
