NEW exercise classes will look to help people who have suffered a stroke.

The sessions are being organised by the St Cuthebert’s Centre, in Copnor and will run weekly from next month.

It is hoped the course will improve members’ movement and independence.

Instructor Jacqui Der Karapetian said: ‘Our aim is to assist them to regain and retain their mobility in a stress-free atmosphere, where we can tailor exercises to suit individuals.’

The classes will start on March 7, and are between 1.30pm and 3pm.
