New technology aimed at helping elderly people

INNOVATIVE technology to help elderly people become more independent has been revealed by Hampshire County Council.

The council and its healthcare contractor Argenti has launched some of the technology which will benefit people suffering from dementia or other health problems. The new programmes include online check-in systems which monitor activity for elderly people who are forgetful as well as a health sensor patch which monitors a patient’s health indicators.
