INFORMATION on how to access health services can be found on a new website.

Scip (Social Care in Portsmouth), is the online signposting service from Portsmouth City Council.

It has now been combined with patient group Healthwatch Portsmouth, and information will be found on its website so people can find out more about health and social care services.

The new directory will receive a number of new features so that it works smarter – users will be able to forward information and details of services to family and friends and refine searches relative to postcode.

James Tippins, Healthwatch information hub officer, said: ‘By combining resources and having all these services in one place we hope it will make it easier for people to find the services they need.

‘If you’re searching for a dentist, wish to book an appointment to see a GP or want to find an advice service on health and wellbeing then the new Healthwatch directory is the best place to find that information.’
