NEW members have been appointed to the Solent NHS Trust board.

Mick Tutt, Brad Roynan and David Griffiths have been appointed as non-executive directors of the board of the trust – which is a relatively new organisation which provides community and mental health services in Portsmouth and Southampton.

Mr Tutt has more than 35 years’ NHS experience, including 20 years in senior management.

Mr Roynon used to be the chief executive of Southampton City Council and developed strong links with the NHS, and Mr Griffiths is a qualified accountant and has spent most of his professional career in the pharmaceutical industry.

The new members will hold their positions for four years.
