PATIENTS and their partners are nearing the end of a six-week ballroom class.

The Queen Alexandra Hospital patients from the department of rheumatology have been learning to dance as part of their rehabilitation.

Matron Colin Beevor said: ‘There are many forms of dance, from ballroom to barn dancing, and disco to Morris dancing.

‘Ballroom dancing has been great for those who attended. It’s been such an enjoyable way to be more physically active and helping with overall fitness for people living with arthritis.’

The classes were led by Pauline Peskett from the PP Dancing Club.
