THE latest A&E waiting times for Queen Alexandra Hospital have fallen below 75 per cent.

For the week ending April 26, only 74.9 per cent of those coming into the emergency department were seen, treated or discharged within four hours.

The government benchmark is for 95 per cent of patients to be seen within this time frame.

Nationally, in the same week the average was 91.4 per cent.

In the week ending April 19, QA saw 81.5 per cent of patients in that time scale.
