A NURSE from Queen Alexandra Hospital who was among the first navy reservists to be deployed as part of the war in Afghanistan, was set to take part in a service of commemoration at St Paul’s Cathedral today in London.

Kathy Pink, 42, was mobilised in September 2001, with just five days notice, and spent three months in Oman and Kenya, working to support the troops.
