LIBRARIES in Havant and Gosport will be hosting roadshows to highlight the range of services on offer to stroke victims and their families.

Teams from The Stroke Association will talk to people about services, as well as preventing a stroke.

Yvonne Hobbs, communication support co-ordinator for the Stroke Association, said: ‘Many people do not realise how common stroke is and that a stroke can happen to anyone of any age. We will have information on our services and ways you can reduce the risk of a stroke. Some of the teams will also be offering blood pressure checks for part of their day.’

The team visits Gosport on May 10 and Havant on May 21.
