ANYONE looking for an exciting new challenge is invited to the Rowans Hospice’s charity events evening.

The hospice is hosting the event which will promote a range of fundraising challenges on offer – some tried and tested and some new.

Past participants from previous events will be sharing their experiences, including daring Doris Long, the 96-year-old abseiler who has raised money for the hospice in Purbrook.

Ali George, events fundraiser for the Rowans Hospice, said: ‘I’m really excited to be sharing some of the new events that we’ve been developing with anyone who enjoys a challenge.

‘Our series of challenges includes abseiling, skydiving, runs, walks, a port-to-port cycle challenge, and a unique trek designed specifically for The Rowans Hospice.’

The events evening will take place on Monday, February 28, in the Atrium at 1000 Lakeside, North Harbour (adjacent to IBM) from 6pm to 7.30pm.
