STAFF at The Rowans Hospice are celebrating after winning a national accreditation award.

The hospice, in Purbrook, achieved the CHKS award for the standards it has and the quality of care it provides.

This is the fifth time it has achieved this accolade.

Jenny Redman, director of quality, said: ‘This achievement makes me feel so proud as we have demonstrated full compliance with all CHKS standards and measures. Together we worked as a team to achieve this and we can now hold our heads up high.’
