THERE’S still time for children and young people to sign up for a charity walk.

The Rowans Hospice is holding its annual Moonlit Memories Meander at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard on Thursday, October 29, from 6.30pm.

The 1.5-mile route offers the opportunity to walk through areas of HM Naval Base not normally open to the public – after dark.

Teresa Jeffery, events fundraiser at the hospice, said: ‘This is a lovely children’s sponsored walk and we are delighted to be holding it again for a sixth year.’

It costs £5 to register a child and registration closes at midnight on Monday.

One adult can accompany up to four children.
