TEAMS are invited to tee-off in the name of charity.

Keen golfers can join former Hampshire cricketer Shaun Udal on his seventh annual celebrity golf day for charity Autism Hampshire.

It raises thousands of pounds each year as well as raising awareness of autism in Hampshire.

Mr Udal has been an ambassador of the charity and has a son with autism.

He said: ‘I’m looking forward to another fantastic day on the green and also to welcoming back the supportive celebrities and teams that make the day achievable.’

The event is at the Old Thorns Manor Hotel in Liphook on March 12.

Participants will get coffee and bacon rolls upon arrival followed by a round on the championship course.

After there will be a three-course meal, an auction and raffle.

The cost for a team of three playing with a celebrity, or four without, is £499.
