Staff at Havant hospital wear pink for breast cancer

STAFF dressed as pink superheroes to raise awareness for breast cancer.

Employees at Spire Portsmouth Hospital wore pink as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Every year, the team raise cash and awareness for the condition by picking out their best pink outfits.

Avi Agrawal, consultant breast surgeon at the hospital in Havant, said: ‘I’m very pleased to be a part of the Wear it Pink team for the third consecutive year.

‘Breast Cancer Awareness Month has been instrumental in breaking the stigma and raising awareness of the symptoms of breast cancer.

‘I fully encourage everyone to get involved and contribute to the funding of life-saving research.’
