Surgeons from West Sussex get on their bikes for hospital
SURGEONS got on their bikes to complete a 100-mile cycling challenge.
The consultant urological surgeons from St Richard's Hospital, Worthing Hospital and West Sussex Urology LLP were meant to take in last month's Velo South.
But the annual event was cancelled due to bad weather. Rather than dismiss their challenge, the group chose to cycle the same distance in the West Sussex countryside.
They raised more than £28,000 for Love Your Hospital, the charity of Western Sussex Hospitals Foundation Trust.
