Sky and The News’ publisher Johnston Press has extended its regional advertising partnership after a successful 12-month trial.
Sky media recently came up with a new product to tailor advertising during television programme breaks to a home according to its location.
The AdSmart has been trialled by Johnston Press and the new agreement will see the company’s advertising sales teams work with the Sky AdSmart team to deliver powerful television advertising campaigns.
CEO of Johnston Press, Ashley Highfield said: ‘Being able to now offer customers across our portfolio the chance to advertise on television to a local, relevant Sky audience is a hugely attractive proposition and further enhances our attractive multimedia advertising offering.
‘This new three-year deal is testament to the strength of the relationships we have with small and medium-sized businesses across our regions.’
Both Sky and Johnston Press aim to bring the initiative to more businesses in the area.
