YOUNG people have rated services at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth highly.
Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs QA, took part in the Care Quality Commission’s Children and Young People’s Inpatient and Day Case Survey.
In total, 37 children and young people, who were admitted to hospital as inpatients or for day-case surgery in August 2014 told of their experiences.
Patients said they felt safe and had good care.
Lesley Coles, head of nursing for women and children’s services for the trust, said: ‘We’re delighted with the positive feedback.
‘The survey states young people and their families are very satisfied with care and have rated us as a safe service.
‘We will use the feedback to further improve our service.’
